2009 Iowa Thespian Festival Details

The Iowa Thespians are gearing up for another exciting festival, hosted once again by North High in Davenport. Please keep the following items in mind as we approach the day:
Arrival and Parking
- Plan to arrive no earlier than 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
- Pull up to the front of the auditorium.
- Troupe directors may exit the bus immediately to pick up registration materials.
- Students should remain on the bus and wait for an ICTB member.
- The ICTB member will guide the bus to the student off-loading location and bus parking. Bus parking will be in the west/southwest parking lot by the gymnasium.
Note: Please do not park busses or school vans in the auditorium parking lot. This small area is reserved for presenters and adjudicators.
Chaperone and Sponsor Duties
- All chaperones will be assigned duties to perform throughout the weekend.
- Troupe directors will receive chaperone assignments when registration materials are picked up.
- Each sponsor should use their own cell phone number as the emergency contact for their students and parents.
Pizza Orders
Live Auction
if you have a contribution to the live auction, items can be brought directly to the festival office which is located in the auditorium lobby. Possible items to consider donating include show t-shirts, posters, and troupe goodies. All proceeds go to Broadway Cares and the Thespian Scholarship Fund.

Questions
General questions can be answered by perusing the Operations Manual located on the website. Any questions not answered by the Operations Manual should be directed to Lynn Jensen.
Please remember that we are guests of North High School. We ask that you and your students respect the surroundings by not bringing stickers or any other items that could deface the building. With positive involvement and support from you and your troupe, the 2009 Iowa Chapter Festival is sure to be the best yet.
