Tech Challenge
Each school team of four-seven people will participate in six team and individual events. The team with the fastest overall time will get a prize! We will be using the same rules and format as the 2011 International Thespian Festival.
The 2011 events will be chosen from the following:
- Lighting: Hanging And Focusing a Source 4 (individual event)
- Costumes: Quick Change (pair event)
- Stagecraft: Knot Tying (individual event)
- Sew a Button (individual event)
- Stage Management: Tape Out a Ground Plan (team event)
- Mystery Event: Mystery event will be one of the following:
a. Crew: Prop Shift: Strike and Set Up Props (Pair Event)
b. Scenery: Leg a Platform (Pair Event)
c. Paint Mixing (Pair Event)
d. Scenery: Folding a Theatrical Backdrop (Team Event)
e. Sound System Setup (Pair Event)
f. Lighting: Cable Roll Up Relay (Team Event)

Teams should consist of four-seven people, with at least two of each gender. Teams can be made up of students from different schools.
Registration
Download the Tech Challenge Registration Form and email it with your other registration forms to director@iowathespians.org. Also send with hard copies of registration forms and fees to:
