College Auditions
A number of colleges and universities, both from across the state of Iowa and around the country, will attend the Iowa Thespian Festival to audition students for scholarships and acceptance into their theatre programs. Students wishing to attend must download the audition form and bring it to the Iowa Thespian Festival.

Students auditioning must:

1. Bring 25 copies of everything: the audition form, theatre resume and/or headshot to the festival.
2. Perform for 1-2 minutes for actors presenting a song, monologue or both. The panel may interview individuals after the audition for a total of 5 minutes. Technical auditions will include a 5 minute portfolio presentation and 5 minute interview for a total of 10 minutes.
3. Preregister with Liz Hansen, college audition coordinator, at lhansen@grinnell.k12.ia.us. We would like to know who is planning to audition.
